[Tutorial] How to Create TTPod Lyrics.trc

Creating TTPod lyrics.trc with TTPod own .trc lyrics maker app

Requirements:

1. Android Phone or Tablet

2. TTKTV: download it from here or Google Drive link

3. MP3 music file you want to create lyrics for (TTKTV only support mp3 format at the moment)

4. Lyrics text: Google the Lyrics of the music you want to create the lyrics for......

At this point I believe you have all the above mentioned requirements.

In this Tutorial am going use “I Know How to Love You Now” from “Nashville Cast”

Note:

Music title: I Know How to Love You Now

Artist name: Nashville Cast

… I recommend using a Good mp3 ID3 tag editor to tag your music so that TTKTV will read your music file correctly (personally I use fo "Tag&Rename" for Windows)

1. Now install TTKTV and open it.

2.Click on the music you want to create lyrics for

  

3. When you click on the music, it will open another window like the image below. 

          Click on the circled button

 4. When you click on the above button, another window     like the image below will be opened.

 Your Name: is where you will enter your name as the                          person that wrote the lyrics (optional)

Note: None of the above information will be displayed when the music is playing

• Click the circled button to continue

5. When you click on the circled button above, it will            open a window like the one below

·     Paste the Lyrics text, and click on the circled         button.

Caution: If you’re connected to the Internet, TTKTV may automatically download a wrong lyrics for you so I recommend you turn your Internet off.

5i. Optional: After pasting the lyrics text, you can decided to add “The Artist, Title and ‘by (Your Name)” to the lyrics text so that they can be displayed before the actual music lyrics display

   After you’re done with your editing click on the circled button

Note: You can also paste your lyrics text in any text editor and edit, after editing you copy & paste it here.

6. When you click on the circled button above, a window like the below image will open

 ·      Use the 3 navigation (arrow) keys to navigate through the Lyrics text as the music is playing, listen to the music carefully to sync the Lyrics and the Music correctly. (using a headset will not be a bad idea)

7. After successfully syncing the Lyrics with the Music, a window like the below image will appear

·      Click on the circled button to save the Lyrics

·      That’s it… You’re done.

At this point the app will automatically start playing the music along with the live scrolling Lyrics.

But since we are programming for TTPod, I recommend using TTPod Music Player to verify if the Lyrics is synced correctly.

To do so open your file manager and locate TTPodKTV folder

Open the folder and locate “trc” folder and copy the lyrics file from “trc" folder to “ttpod/lyric” folder and play the Music with TTPod Music Player.

Follow the Music as it sing to check if it's synced correctly.
